The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on June 7 decided to send 73 lawsuits from a federal court in New York to a federal court in Massachusetts.

Today, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit reversed Federal Court dismissal of thousands of property owners’ claims against the U.S. for Army Corps of Engineers decision to release millions of gallons of water from the Addicks and Barker Reservoirs in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
Sometimes products fails or malfunction resulting in unintended consequences. When this happens, the companies that create those products need to held accountable. This can be done through a class action or a mass tort.
Last year Exactech issued a recall for over 147,000 knee and ankle implants and over 90,000 hip implants across the United States. Implants created in 2004 or later may have been comprised due to packaging issues, potentially leading patients to suffer from bone loss and revision surgery.
