Barrett Beck

Born in Dallas and raised in Plano, Barrett Beck knew as early as elementary school that he wanted to become a lawyer.

"In history class, I was inspired by all the heroic Americans that served in our military, led civil rights movements, practiced business, and created inventions. I noticed that many of these same people were also lawyers. This encouraged me to become a lawyer and help people that were injured or wronged by another person or corporation.”

Barrett Beck attended Texas Tech University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and graduated summa cum laude. After that, Barrett Beck earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. During law school, Barrett competed for the school’s top-ranked Moot Court Team and interned at a prestigious personal injury law firm where he worked on pharmaceutical mass tort litigation.

After law school, Barrett Beck worked as a litigation lawyer for another prominent personal injury law firm in Houston where he handled personal injury cases involving 18-wheeler crashes, construction accidents, and premises liability. Barrett joined Fleming | Nolen | Jez L.L.P. in the spring of 2022. He works on a variety of litigation areas.
